A series of armored Android smartphones with increased protection, which is designed to work in adverse environmental conditions, in production, in the mining industry, etc. Usually, Xcover devices are reliably protected from shock and vibration in accordance with the military standard MIL-STD-810, guarantee trouble-free operation at extremely high or low temperatures, are not afraid of dust ingress, and can withstand diving to a depth of 30 minutes.

In addition to armor, Xcover smartphones have additional features that simplify interaction with the gadget. For example, the Glove Touch feature increases the sensitivity of the screen so that the owner of the smartphone can use it with gloves. In other cases, Xcover models are equipped with a separate push-to-talk button for instant communication and an emergency request feature that automatically sends the user's location data if necessary. And the presence of the 14th band for special communications will help to quickly resolve the issue in case of emergencies with mobile communications.

By the end of 2021, the Korean giant has already released several generations of Xcover pipes. Some of them are old-school push-button tubes with a double layer of armor and a battery that is difficult to plant. Others are more modern smartphones a la Xcover 5 and Xcover Pro with classic IPS displays, Exynos processors and NFC. In terms of hardware configuration and additional features, these are rather mid-range smartphones that lack stars from the sky, but will not annoy the owner with a laggy shell and brakes in the menu.
