Modernized appearance

The smartphone has been well modernized with an enlarged external display. Instead of a tiny screen with a diagonal of 4.6" by modern standards, the second generation of Flip carries a full-size 6.2-inch display on board. It is made on the basis of the Super AMOLED matrix and, taking into account the aspect ratio of 25:9, shows an image with a resolution of 2260x816 pixels. The main screen of the device has also grown in size — henceforth its diagonal in the open form reaches 7.6".

The substrate for the tablet part of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 was a newfangled Dynamic AMOLED type matrix with a fast refresh rate of 120 Hz. The image resolution of the internal display is 2208x1768 pixels (5:4 aspect ratio). A couple of selfie cameras no longer “eat up” the usable screen space, but are placed directly in it in the form of pinholes.
