The flagship is the most advanced model within a certain line of gadgets. Such a model, usually, combines the most advanced solutions at the time of creation: a performant hardware platform, a high-end display and cameras, extensive additional equipment, various special features and capabilities, etc. At the same time, the flagship can be available in several versions that differ usually by the amount of RAM and/or storage.

Note that most major brands release such devices on average once a year; at the same time, after the release of a new flagship, its predecessor gives way to this position and ceases to be considered a flagship itself (although it often remains among top-class models). It is also worth saying that if a manufacturer has several lines of smartphones at once, then each of them can have its own flagship.
