In addition, the software suite for iOS is not as extensive as for Android, and paid apps can cost a little more. On the other hand, the App Store has strict requirements for apps, which has a positive effect on the overall quality and security of applications. iOS itself is highly optimized for a specific hardware due to which Apple devices often outperform Android models with similar specs in terms of performance. In addition, the system is constantly updated, and users of "apple" gadgets constantly have access to the latest version of iOS (therefore, the iOS version is not specified in the iPhone specifications). Of the obvious downsides of this OS (compared to Android), one can note the lack of full-fledged multitasking, almost zero possibilities for customizing the appearance and installing third-party shells (this is only possible on a hacked system), as well as the lack of support of memory cards.
