Under pressure from Xiaomi, Huawei and other Chinese companies, Samsung had to rethink its strategy. If everything was fine with the flagships, then, and in the field of low-cost smartphones, the Korean giant lagged behind on all fronts, offering brand fans outdated and low-powered devices at inflated prices. The embodiment of the new strategy was the Galaxy A series, which brought the brand closer to the people.

Each smartphone of the Galaxy A line offers the most for its money: a modern design that is pleasing to the eye, performant hardware, up-to-date communication modules, NFC, a high-quality camera, etc. However, this has already been in The Simpsons. Therefore, Super AMOLED displays have become one of the most important success factors. Usually, displays of this class were more common to see in advanced smartphones, and in the case of the Galaxy A series, we are talking about options for $ 200-300. At the same time, computing capabilities do not lag behind — almost every model, with the exception of the youngest ones, is equipped with a serious processor and enough RAM so that Samsung could position them as smartphones for gamers.

Another beauty of the A series is the freedom of choice. There is an offer for every taste, colour and wallet thickness — from very cheap models to solid mid-range models that can handle heavy mobile games and Saturday photo hunting in the forest. At the beginning of 2021, the Galaxy A line includes several dozen models of different levels. On the lower floor, there are junior smartphones of the Galaxy A01 and A10 level with price tags around $100, while on the upper floors you can find very serious mid-range handsets like the A71 and A80, which are drawn to be called semi-flagships. The most successful models of the series received updates with the letter "s" in the title. They differ from the original models in a more performant filling and improved camera modules.
