A smartphone of a solid medium rank in the style of the older Samsung Galaxy S. The device greets the user with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz (not dynamic). The model is assembled on a durable metal chassis and lined with glass from Gorilla Glass. The body of the device has acquired reliable dust and moisture protection IP67.
In keeping with tradition, the mobile device was powered by the proprietary Exynos 1480 chipset - this is an advanced middle-class solution with sufficient performance reserves to perform the vast majority of smartphone tasks. The amount of memory on board the model is distributed in the ratio of 8 GB of RAM versus 256 GB of space in the internal data storage. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy A55 256GB/8GB was equipped with a hybrid expansion tray (for a second SIM or microSD card to choose from).
The smartphone has a triple main camera 50 + 12 + 5 MP with optical stabilization of the main sensor, a 32 MP front camera with a lens in the island display hole, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. The electronic components of the device are powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 25-watt wired charging. From zero to half the battery of the gadget is charged in literally half an hour. For integration into contactless payment systems, the smartphone was equipped with an NFC module.
