The announcement of the mobile platform took place at the end of 2023.Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 consists of one high-performance Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, five Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2/3.0 GHz and two energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The single-chip system has an X75 5G modem, Adreno 750 graphics, support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth v 5.4 wireless standards. However, the main focus of the chipset is on unlocking the potential of artificial intelligence, which involves the powerful NPU Hexagon coprocessor. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 supports ray tracing enabled by Unreal Engine 5.2 and is capable of working with Quad HD+ screens up to 144 Hz and cameras with resolutions up to 200 MP. As for memory systems, the chip supports LPDDR5X 4800 MHz RAM with a capacity of up to 24 GB and UFS 4.0 standard data storage devices.
