Model overview based on user reviews
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 128 GB / 6 GB is a powerful and versatile smartphone that stands out with its excellent display, offering a superb viewing experience. The device is equipped with the highly useful S Pen stylus, enhancing its functionality significantly. Users appreciate the fast performance of the phone, which efficiently handles various tasks. The Note9 also boasts an IP68 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water, and supports expandable storage, allowing users to add more memory as needed. The sound quality is exceptional, with stereo speakers tuned by AKG, and the battery life is decent, lasting a full day under normal usage. However, some users find the phone's size and weight cumbersome, and the battery performance may not meet everyone's expectations, lasting only 10-11 hours. The AR Emoji feature is considered disappointing, and the included headphones may not suit all users, although the sound quality is praised. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a top-tier smartphone offering a blend of performance, durability, and innovative features.

The ultimate smartphone, almost a computer, pleasing everyone, but only for 10 hours.

The ultimate device. Powerful, fast, almighty. The screen is as always the best possible. The sound is beyond praise. Stereo speakers tuned by AKG sound great. The headphones are very good. After them, the wireless IconX 2018 disappeared into oblivion. For those who are in the know about the stylus. A sea of memory and the ability to add a card for 512 leaves no chance for competitors. And the ability to use regular USB-C flash drives to watch movies or quickly transfer photos/videos to a computer is endlessly pleasing. Connecting to a projector or TV via HDMI turns it into a regular computer with the ability to watch a movie or give a presentation. The battery is now 4000. Moisture and dust protection. In short, you can write for a long time. There is something to praise for.
Screen, sound, stylus, DEX, speed, smoothness. IP68 moisture protection is already mandatory for me. Possibility to expand memory and use regular flash drives as an external drive.
The size and weight have become larger. The first days after the purchase I was constantly doing something, warming up and discharging. It's better now, but the battery still lasts for 10-11 hours. I expected more. In tests on YouTube they somehow manage to squeeze out more. Let's wait for an update or some other miracle.
Those who don't need compromises should take them. The rest don't.

Great phone, I've been using it for a little over a month. A fast, convenient recognition system (face or fingerprint) and ergonomics are also excellent. I was waiting for it to disappoint, but it didn’t disappoint (I used to have a Samsung s6)
Screen, stylus, battery, speed
Price, headphones are not suitable for everyone (they did not suit me, although the sound quality in them is excellent)

The best among the best

The Galaxy Note9 is the most powerful and expensive smartphone in Samsung's giant range of smartphones. He is the first who was not afraid to throw a glove in the direction of the iPhone and one of the few who are gradually winning back the popularity of the "apple".

In the case of the “nine”, Samsung did not break what works, but simply finalized and improved the previous model. As in the "eight", the back side of the glass is gently rounded at the edges and crashes into the metal frame with virtually no gap. And the screen tends to take up almost all the free space: according to official figures, it occupies almost 85% of the front panel.

Huge display with changeable resolution

The S-AMOLED class screen migrated here from the recent Galaxy S9 flagships. Compared to Note8, it has grown a little — up to 6.4". The standard screen resolution is 2960x1440 pixels, but recently Samsung has taken the step unprecedented for smartphones and allowed to change it in the settings. For example, the maximum resolution looks great when working with the DeX dock, and the low one, in which case, saves battery power.

Improved security system

Traditionally, a fingerprint scanner is hidden on the back of the case near the camera. Alternatively, there is an unlock feature using an iris scanner. The process is more complicated and takes longer as the scanner needs to "see" the eyes, but generally works fine.

Top AI-enabled processor

One of the main reasons for pride is the brand new Exynos 9810 processor with support for artificial intelligence (AI). It consists of four cores at 2.7 GHz, four more at 1.8 GHz, as well as an ARM Mali-G72 MP18 GPU. In synthetic tests, it shows results approximately on par with Snapdragon 845. Simply put, this is one of the most powerful processors on the market, and it’s even hard to say how many years it will stop pulling games and heavy applications. And although infinity is not the limit, 8 GB of RAM will also be enough for many years to come.

Camera that breaks records

When a new flagship of the Galaxy series enters the market, it almost always sets records in terms of camera performance. So it was with the Galaxy S9 Plus, which scored 99 points in the ranking of the authoritative resource Dxomark. History repeats itself with the Note9, which got the Galaxy S9 camera with new features like Dual Aperture and Super Slow-Mo, but with a number of technical improvements.

New life for the stylus

If you often use a stylus on duty, then we have great news: the proprietary S Pen has been updated beyond recognition and has learned to play the role of a Bluetooth controller. For example, control the shutter timer and music playback.

Additional features mobile phone Samsung Galaxy Note9 128GB:
  • Ability to change the display resolution online.
  • The display extends beyond the side frames (curved).
  • Temperature and humidity sensor, barometer, heart rate sensor.
  • Bixby voice assistant.
  • Smartphone control with gestures.
