The Z Flip differs from the previous model in an enlarged screen, IPX8 waterproof class, and support for a screen refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
Diagonal of the second display: 1.9", resolution 512x260 pixels (suitable for selfies).
A folding smartphone from Samsung, made in the form of a good old "clamshell", only without physical buttons, but with a large flexible display inside. This form factor has a lot of advantages: when folded, the gadget is compact and can easily fit in your pocket, and the Flex mode allows you to fix the phone at a certain angle, take photos or videos hands-free and open several applications at the same time, splitting the screen into two parts.
The manufacturer has worked hard on the materials. The frame is made of the most durable aluminium alloy, and the outer screen and back are covered with Gorilla Glass Victus. It's also the first IPX8-rated foldable smartphone that's water-resistant, not just splash-proof. When unfolded, we get a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2640x1080 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
There is also an additional screen with a diagonal of 1.9", on which you can view incoming messages and notifications and look like in a mirror when taking a selfie with the main camera. By the way, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G has two cameras, like a full-fledged model: a 10-megapixel front and a dual main one, combining two 12-megapixel sensors with optical stabilization and flash.
The “filling” of the device also corresponds to the flagship level: the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 5G support, as the name suggests, 8/128 GB of memory, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, stereo speakers and a side fingerprint scanner. Responsible for battery life is a small 3300 mAh battery with a full set of fast (15 W), wireless (10 W) and reverse wireless charging.
