Sometimes major manufacturers of equipment come out with iconic products that largely determine the future of the brand. For example, the history of the Redmi brand began with a single Xiaomi Redmi handset. And the gaming division of HyperX once operated under the wing of Kingston. And there are good chances that we are now witnessing a similar story: many techno bloggers called the Realme V5 smartphone announced at the end of 2020 the best state employee of the year, millions of people lined up behind it in China, and Realme immediately fussed and announced several updated models that will be part of a new series codenamed Koi.

The chip of these smartphones is the reference balance between the price, hardware, multimedia capabilities and additional features. For example, the original V5 is equipped with an excellent 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, and its performance is handled by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 single-chip system with 8GB of RAM. For a $200-odd price tag, this is a success. But then more - the device is equipped with a rather serious vertical unit with 4 cameras, supports 30-watt charging and looks great.

Following Realme V5, a pack of smartphones similar in spirit was announced - in particular, Realme V5 and Realme V15 with 5G modules. And this is a trump card that is difficult to beat with something - by the end of 2021, you can find literally half a dozen smartphones with 5G and a price tag of up to $300 on the market. And most of them were released by Xiaomi. Otherwise, the announced devices develop the ideas of Realme V5, striving to provide an optimal balance between price and additional features.
