Despite the fact that Realme was originally conceived as a popular smartphone manufacturer and in some way was an analogue of Xiaomi from the BBK concern, it would be strange not to have a single flagship in the assortment that can be brought to the exhibition and boasted in a commercial. That's how the Realme GT line was born in 2021, which at the time of writing this material includes 2 models — the Realme GT 5G and the very slightly simplified Realme GT Neo.

Interestingly, as a think tank, the Realme GT Neo uses a promising single-chip processor Dimension 1200 from Mediatek, which demonstrates performance at the level of Snapdragon 870 at a lower cost. We are sure that we will see this processor more than once in the so-called subflagmans like smartphones of the OnePlus or Xiaomi Mi family. With the Realme GT 5G, everything is simpler: it has an absolutely top-end Snapdragon 888, and there is nothing to discuss. The picture is complemented by a storage with fast memory of the UFS 3.1 class and 8-12 GB of RAM (depending on the configuration).

Otherwise, smartphones are similar. Both are equipped with massive 6.43-inch Super AMOLED displays from Samsung with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. However, the HDR content can only be reproduced by the Realme GT 5G. The cameras are both triple, with the only difference being that the Realme GT 5G uses a Sony IMX682 sensor. The front cameras of both smartphones are cut right into the screen and have the same resolution of 16 MP.

Both representatives of the GT line can boast of the presence of stereo speakers, modern means of communication (5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth) and really fast charging. The older Realme GT 5G with a 65-watt charger is fully charged in just 35 minutes. The Realme GT uses a new liquid cooling technology that allows you to effectively reduce the temperature of the case under load during charging. Plus, these are rare flagships that still have a separate audio output for connecting headphones by wire.
