Realme offers a top-level smartphone with all the necessary flagship features and at the same time a very attractive price tag. It's one of the most affordable flagships of 2021 that doesn't compromise on cost. The case is made of glass and has an interesting colour scheme, especially the version with a yellow leather cover and a black stripe that mimics the shadow of the camera unit.
The 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display has a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is especially important for the smoothness of the picture in games. Inside, it's a real beast: 2021's top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 processor pairs with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for ultra-fast game loading and app launches. Realme GT 5G supports 5G networks as its name suggests, as well as Wi-Fi 6 with fast bandwidth and Bluetooth version 5.2.
And so that such a powerful “hardware” does not lead to overheating, a cooling system with an evaporation chamber is provided. Battery life rests on the shoulders of a 4500 mAh battery, which is fully charged in just 35 minutes thanks to 65 W fast charging. If only 5% is left, and there is no time to charge, use the super power saving mode, in which the remaining charge is enough for 52 minutes of watching YouTube videos and 166 minutes of listening to music.
The front camera here is 16-megapixel, and the main one is made in the form of a rectangular block and includes a 64 MP Sony IMX682 sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field of view, and an additional 2 MP macro lens. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, NFC for contactless payments, an under-screen fingerprint scanner and a slot for two SIM cards – the model does not have the ability to install a memory card.

Realme GT 5G almost single-handedly fills the niche of well-charged smartphones, not for all the money in the world. However, you can’t call it a flagship model, in fact it is a kind of middle peasant “at maximum speeds”.
Three "dragon" eights
The trump ace up the sleeve of the model is the top mobile Snapdragon 888 processor, which is the most powerful solution from Qualcomm at the time the mobile device was released. The flagship chipset comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with support for dynamic RAM expansion technology. It allows you to convert permanent memory to RAM due to the unused storage capacity of 128 GB. To match the advanced hardware, Realme GT 5G is armed with a bright and colorful Super AMOLED screen, “overclocked” to 120 Hz. A fingerprint scanner is located directly in the display. And in the round hole on the left hand of the upper segment of the "facade" you can see the lens of a 16 MP selfie camera. The smartphone solves all other photographic tasks with the help of a triple rear camera 64 + 8 + 2 MP. The leading image sensor of the device has HDR support and works with artificial intelligence algorithms.
Notable sub-flagship
Bribes smartphone and non-trivial appearance — the "racing yellow" colour of the back of the device with a black strip down from the main camera module looks especially tasty. In this version, the back of the phone has a leather finish. Also praised are fast 65-watt charging, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 3.5 mm audio jack (a rarity in today's realities). Why can't a smartphone with such characteristics be called a flagship? For this rank, the model lacks wireless charging, water protection of the case, optical stabilization in the camera and other similar attributes inherent in high-end mobile devices.
