Additional power

— graphics cards that require additional power from the computer's power supply (the power supplied through the PCI-E connection slot is not enough to operate such a module). The need for external power, on the one hand, complicates the connection and puts forward certain requirements for the PSU power; on the other hand, it is a sign of a rather powerful and performant graphics card (although, of course, such devices can vary from low-cost to top).
