A line of video cards of the middle class and above, in which the emphasis is on the quality of cooling. Responsible for this is the proprietary Windforce cooling system, which is a well-recognizable casing with an angular texture and black or orange stripes along the body. It performs a purely utilitarian function and covers the radiator, there is no backlight on it.

The number of turntables depends on the specific model ― medium-level cards with a normal board length have two coolers, more powerful and larger models require three turntables for adequate cooling. One of the chips with Windforce is the unique shape of the impeller and the different direction of rotation of the fans, which together prevent the occurrence of turbulent flows and improve the overall purge of the radiator.

The Winforce series is based on mid-level or above-average video cards. Gigabyte itself interferes with saying for sure, which has changed the positioning of the line several times. So, in 2017, GeForce GTX 1070 Ti and GTX 1080 caliber devices were released under the Windforce flags, which at the time of release were the kings of the market. And in 2021 they feel great. And already in the next generation, Windforce changed course towards the middle class, and the most popular graphics cards of 2019-2020 were the much more modest GeForce GTX 1050 and 1050 SUPER.

Apparently, this is due to the fact that the Windforce cooling system proved to be even better than the turntables in the Aorus or Gaming models, and now Gigabyte uses it everywhere. Interestingly, in addition to air cooling, the Taiwanese manufacturer has released several experimental Waterforce models with water cooling. At the same time, they cost less than related Aorus models with the same dropsy. This creates a curious precedent, when due to the level of the cooling system of the Windforce graphics card, as a result, they turn out to be quieter and colder than the more expensive flagship models.
