Smartphones with Wi-Fi 6 (ax) support
Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
— phone support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax).Wi-Fi technology itself is used to connect to the Internet via wireless access points, as well as to remotely control various equipment (for example, a camera or quadcopter) and to “share” mobile Internet from a smartphone to other Wi-Fi devices. The Wi-Fi module is a must for any modern smartphone. And the Wi-Fi 6 standard has a number of important improvements over its predecessors. First, it uses a whole set of frequency ranges — from 1 to 7 GHz; this list includes the standard 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, which ensures compatibility with earlier versions of Wi-Fi, however, other, less congested frequency bands are used for communication where possible. Secondly, the maximum data transfer rate has been increased to 10 Gbps. Thirdly, in this version, a number of solutions have been introduced to optimize the simultaneous operation of several devices at the same frequency; thanks to this, when the Wi-Fi 6 channel is loaded, it gives the smallest drop in speed among modern standards.
