A mid-range smartphone from the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note line with aspirations to join the sub-flagship league of mobile devices. Among its older counterparts, the model “spied” an OLED screen with curved side edges, powerful hardware, a stabilized main camera and a completely waterproof IP68 case. The smartphone display measures 6.67 inches diagonally and displays images in high resolution 2712x1220 pixels.
It claims 12-bit color representation, support for 100% DCI-P3 color space, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In addition, a fingerprint scanner has settled in the under-screen layer. Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 512GB/12GB is powered by a powerful eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, and the device has 12/512 GB of memory (without expansion slot). The leading sensor of the rear triple camera of the device boasts a resolution of 200 MP. It was accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2 MP macro module. The smartphone's 5000 mAh battery supports 120 W fast charging - from zero to 100% in just 19 minutes. The gadget was loaded with an NFC module and armed with a proprietary IR blaster.

The triple camera is also on point, and the optical stabilization helps a lot in low light conditions or when shooting with long shutter speeds. If we compare the camera with market leaders, the photos, even in good lighting, lack detail, and graininess clearly appears in photos taken with the zoom.
Good, but not perfect
In terms of minuses, there is a shell that is familiar to Xiaomi, loaded with advertising and pre-installed software, as well as questions about quality, since even the company’s most expensive smartphones can begin to glitch and break down in a couple of years.
