If the Tecno brand is well known in the local market in China, then for a European buyer it has long remained a dark horse. To attract the attention of potential buyers, Tecno specialists had to give all the best and try to do everything better, brighter and more entertaining than their competitors. The Tecno Camon series smartphones, which by the standards of 2021-2022 are called by many techno bloggers the perfect of a mid-range smartphone, have achieved the greatest success in this field.

Camon smartphones are modern and inexpensive smartphone models with decent equipment: they have NFC, a high-quality display with a refresh rate of 90-120 Hz, fast charging, up-to-date communication modules, etc. However, in the middle class, few people are surprised by this now, so Tecno makes a separate emphasis on the design of their devices and the rich camera capabilities. For example, these are rare middle-class tubes in which you can find a high-quality implementation of image stabilization and a full-fledged optical zoom.

For several years of existence of the Camon series, half a dozen phablets have been released in it, priced from 160 to $250. The last update of this line took place in November 2021, when Tecno first launched the original Camon 18 smartphone, and then presented two modified versions of the Camon 18P and Camon 18 Premier. Of particular interest to the public was precisely the Premier version with an unusual for the middle class with articulated camera stabilization, a 60x hybrid zoom, a fast lens and its own TAIVOS image enhancer. It is common to see such tricks in the announcements of top smartphones, but not in the case of devices for $300-350.

Otherwise, all three smartphones are equipped with the latest technology and boast a serious hardware platform (Helio G96 + 6 processor - 8 GB of RAM), which allows you to comfortably run multiple applications, many browser tabs or play heavy games. The whole trio can work in LTE networks, and also has built-in Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5 GHz and NFC modules.
