Smartphones with USB-C
USB C
— devices that use USB-C as the universal connector. This is a relatively new interface, created, among other things, as a replacement for microUSB. USB-C's most notable advantage over its predecessor is its reversible design, which allows the connector to be plugged in either way. In addition, this connector usually uses a USB 3.1 gen1 or 3.1 gen2 standard, which provides speeds up to 4.8 Gbps or 10 Gbps respectively, and also allows you to use a fairly high power supply. Also many fast charging technologies (see "Extra features") are optimized for this type of connector.
