The mid-range smartphone from the "people's" line, Xiaomi Redmi Note, is the base model of the 14th family with support for LTE mobile networks. The device features a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a familiar resolution of Full HD+ (2400x1080 pixels). The display refresh rate reaches 120 Hz, with the panel protected by Gorilla Glass v5. The smartphone's "hardware" is standard — an eight-core MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra processor, supported by ARM Mali-G57 MC2 graphics and 8 GB RAM.
The model provides 256 GB of internal memory, and a hybrid slot allows for expanding the internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 256GB comes with a triple rear camera featuring a main image sensor of 108 MP, a 20 MP front camera with a lens in the island hole of the screen, an NFC module, a proprietary IR port, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone's battery has a capacity of 5500 mAh and supports fast wired charging via a 33 W power adapter. The device's body has IP54 splash resistance.

Bought it as a gift for my husband, and he previously had a Note 7, so the difference is enormous. The camera has gotten much better, the photos are sharper, and the colors are very vibrant, thanks to the AMOLED screen. The battery lasts up to two days even with heavy use, and there's fast charging available. The 256 GB memory is more than enough. The phone runs quickly without any lag. For the price, it's an excellent model. My husband is 100% satisfied. Bright screen, long battery life, stylish design. 1. Screen. Bright AMOLED with 120 Hz refresh rate support. No PWM. A big plus for this.
2. Processor covers all basic tasks and can even handle heavy games. No complaints here either.
3. Memory. I have the 8/256 version. No issues with memory. Everything works great.
4. Body and assembly. The smartphone doesn't creak or wobble. The body is matte. However, I encountered a small defect in the form of a noticeable speck under the main camera glass.
5. Battery and charging. The battery lasts for 9-10 hours of screen time and a full day of use, which is generally good. Charges from a non-native Moto 33W adapter (from 10 to 100% in 1 hour 40 minutes). It seems to take no more than 18 watts.
6. Sound. Good stereo sound with no complaints.
7. Firmware. Android 14 Hyper OS 1 with an update to 15 and Hyper OS 2. Android 16 and Hyper OS 3 were recalled due to critical bugs. Overall, everything works surprisingly well. Ads can be turned off in a minute.
8. Package contents. Phone, case, film (cheap, so the quality matches) and cable. But be careful. The European and global versions have different sizes, so glass and cases won't fit from global to European and vice versa.
9. No connection issues. Everything works fine. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi also work without problems.
10. The camera takes good photos and videos. There is digital stabilization on the main camera and front camera for video.
11. Security. The in-screen scanner works without problems. Facial recognition is also fine.
