Smartphones
Smartphones
— the most advanced type of mobile phones: Smartphones are actually pocket computers with a wide range of communication possibilities, in addition to mobile communication modules. The hardware of such a gadget necessarily includes a touch screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless technologies, GPS navigation and two cameras — rear and front. In addition, modern smartphones can provide a wide variety of additional equipment — NFC modules for contactless payment (and not only), fingerprint scanners and face recognition systems for user identification, and even such exotic things as a barometer or a built-in walkie-talkie.On the software side, a mandatory feature of a smartphone is the presence of a full-fledged OS — a firmware with an extensive set of software that allows you to further expand this set by installing additional applications. Modern smartphones run mainly on Android or iOS; see "Operating system" for details.
