Almost every major vendor has a specific line of miniature low-profile video receivers with a shortened printed circuit board and a single fan, which are designed for owners of compact Cube Case and Barebone cases. The Chinese manufacturer INNO3D calls this series Compact. Due to its modest dimensions and length, Compact video cards are the best solution for simple gaming builds that do not require feats in terms of overclocking and performance.

Due to limitations in the length and power of the power subsystem, INNO3D selects only entry-level and conditionally middle-level accelerators for this line, which still feel good when playing at Full HD resolution, but do not meet the requirements of 2K and 4K monitors. As a rule, these are folk models from NVIDIA of the past and the year before last - GTX 1650/1660 or more recent RTX 2060/2060 SUPER with basic support for ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS adaptive scaling technology. The amount of video memory depends on the specific model and can range from 4 to 8 GB.

All representatives of the Compact series occupy no more than two slots on the rear wall of the system unit, the length of the device does not exceed 190 mm, and the area of the printed circuit board is almost half that of full-fledged models with an identical video core. The board and memory chips are usually covered by a thick aluminium heatsink with a minimalist plastic casing. Illumination is not provided. The cooling systems here are far from the most outstanding - they cope with cooling, but they are noticeably noisy and are not designed for overclocking. However, this problem to some extent concerns all low-profile models, you have to pay something for compactness. Despite the modest dimensions, Comact cards usually have all the current video outputs on board, including one HDMI and a pair of DisplayPort.
