The Xiaomi 12 family has a trio of noteworthy smartphones. This is the basic 12th model without any indexes, its simplified modification 12X and the 12S model with the Leica nameplate on the rear camera plate. These smartphone options have few differences and rightfully belong to the flagship cavalry of mobile devices.

A common feature for all models of the series is a relatively compact AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.28 inches and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. But the processors of the whole trinity are different: Xiaomi 12 has acquired a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the 12X model is running a processor with a simpler rank of Snapdragon 870, and finally, Xiaomi 12S has got a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset at its disposal. The amount of RAM in smartphones of the line can vary between 8 GB and 12 GB, their standard storage has a capacity of 128 or 256 GB. There is no expansion slot in the design of the devices of the line.

The compact flagships of the Xiaomi 12 line have an optimal price-performance ratio.

The original 12th model and the 12X modification are equipped with a 50 + 13 + 5 MP triple main camera. The role of the leading sensor uses a Sony IMX766 sensor with optical stabilization, and in its company there are an ultra-wide and a macro module with autofocus. Xiaomi 12S has a similar set of cameras, but the main sensor here is the Sony IMX707 with Leica optics. Squad 12 smartphones support 67W fast wired charging and reverse wireless charging (except 12X model). They only lack the moisture protection of the case.
