A line of low-cost smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer UMIDIGI with a clean Android OS, a nice design and far from the most powerful processors from Unisoc and Mediatek. The main difference from other low-cost smartphones from the C&G series is a slightly better performance, more powerful hardware and more memory. This affects the price: if the ultra-low-cost G1 usually costs around $100, the average cost of devices from the A series is usually $150.

In order not to complicate the lineup, UMIDIGI used classic digital designations - the higher the number in the name, the more expensive and status the smartphone. For example, the most current representative of the A line at the time of this writing (autumn 2022) is the UMIDIGI A13 model. This is an interesting medium-sized smartphone with a nice matte cover, a massive 6.7-inch display, a Unisoc Tiger T610 processor, 4 + 128 GB of memory, a side fingerprint scanner, a triple camera and USB-C. It lacks stars from the sky, but it does not graze the back on against the background of other competitors from the Middle Kingdom.

The A-series also includes modifications of already released smartphones with S and Pro Max prefixes. Models with the letter S are "fat-free" options with a simplified camera and a less powerful smartphone. In Pro Max devices, on the contrary, you don’t need to think about the lack of something important. Usually they are equipped with NFC chips, fast charging, an advanced camera and more powerful hardware, the amount of RAM can reach a rather impressive 8 GB, and the body can be made of metal and glass, rather than the usual glossy plastic.
