Under the flags of Infinix Smart, ultra-budget smartphones costing up to $100 are released, seeking to attract buyers with a low price ratio and decent technical characteristics that even conditional Xiaomi / Redmi cannot offer. At the same time, most Infinix Smart models have a clear positioning - this is an inexpensive smartphone for people who need a large screen and long battery life.

The core of the series is made up of ultra-budget smartphones priced up to $100 apiece. As a rule, they are equipped with far from the brightest and most colorful IPS displays. In regular Infinix Smart models, the screen diagonal is 6.5 - 6.6 inches, in Infinix Smart Plus versions, this figure can exceed 6.8 inches. Hardware power in most cases is provided by a base-level processor from Mediatek or Unisoc and a 2-3 GB RAM module.

To avoid unnecessary slowdowns, most Smart handsets are equipped with a fat-free version of the Android Go OS, which, due to optimization and stripped down graphics, runs 30% faster than regular Android. At the same time, modest hardware and a screen carefully consumes battery power, so the average Infinix Smart is able to work for several days without recharging.

Otherwise, a typical smartphone from the Smart series can hardly be called a child of economy. Despite the low cost, in many devices released since the end of 2021, you can find an NFC chip for contactless payment, a fingerprint scanner, a capacious battery, and a dual main camera. Typically, devices under $100 automatically fall into the “grandma smartphone” category, so many manufacturers prefer to save on such things.
