EVGA has a special relationship with overclocking, which shapes the brand's approach. While many competitors are competing to see who has the best address lighting, the guys from EVGA are trying to squeeze all the juice out of the video cards that fell into their hands. For example, this is a rare brand that has a separate line of K|NGP|N graphics cards, created in collaboration with the famous overclocker Vince Lucido. In turn, models from the XC series at the time of release were among the fastest models in the middle class.

For example, EVGA experts set the Boost frequency 100 MHz higher for the GeForce RTX 3060, which claims to be the people's one. Of course, this is not a panacea, because the actual frequency is not fixed in place and depends on the Power Limit specifications and operating temperatures. However, the fact remains that the EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC Gaming turned out to be one of the fastest in its class. At the same time, many representatives of this family outperform similar models from Asus and MSI due to compactness. The length of the mentioned RTX 3060 XC is only 202 mm, and the height is 110 mm against the standard 240 and 140 mm. Sometimes you have to pay for this with a slightly higher temperature of the video core.

The XC lineup is extremely diverse, so it is difficult to attribute it to any particular class. You can meet here a simple GeForce RTX 1650, and RTX 3090, which, with its 24 GB of video memory, hardware ray tracing and DLSS supersampling, sets new performance standards. If you rely solely on prices, then the representatives of the XC line would be more correctly attributed to the middle class. These cards are of high quality but no frills. The design largely repeats the design of the reference cards, the backlight is modest, the proprietary ICX system and backplate are used for cooling, and the price tags tend to be as democratic as possible.
