Mobile Phones Apple series iPhone 16 Pro
iPhone 16 Pro
The iPhone 16 Pro family stands out with its durable titanium case and high performance, which is provided by the new Apple A18 Pro processor with overclocked cores, an improved GPU unit and a modified neural engine. In synthetic benchmarks, its performance is slightly ahead of the M1 SoC processor, which debuted in MacBooks a few years ago.
The updated neural engine is needed to effectively manage the built-in tools based on artificial intelligence. It is called Apple Intelligence and includes a solid set of tools that in some ways overlap with the capabilities of ChatGPT, Claude and similar assistants. According to representatives of the company, Apple Intelligence will help with writing and editing any texts (letters, messages, posts on social networks, etc.), processing photos, transcribing audio files into text and similar things.
The iPhone 16 Pro pays special attention to the triple camera, which can shoot 4K video at 120 fps in HDR and is also equipped with various enhancers. Instead of the main iSight lens, which was in the iPhone 15 Pro, a new Apple Fusion module is now used, and the resolution of the ultra-wide lens has increased from 12 to 48 MP. To control the camera, there is a special Camera Control button with haptic feedback, with which the user can instantly turn the camera on and off, zoom in or out, and quickly change the shooting mode from photo to video (and back).
Otherwise, this is a flagship-level smartphone with a gorgeous LTPO-OLED screen, support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, Wi-Fi 7, MagSafe wireless charging, a LIDAR sensor, an Ultra Wideband 2.0 module, and many other features borrowed from its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro. The titanium body of the smartphone boasts IP68 water protection and four different color options. The iPhone 16 Pro family includes smartphones with built-in memory of 128, 256, 512, and 1000 GB.
