iPhone 12 mini
The smartphone market is growing in all directions. Smartphones themselves are growing along with it, some of them have almost caught up with tablets in size. But as the story with the dizzying success of the iPhone SE 2020 has shown, not all buyers like to carry a mini-computer in their pocket or bag, on the contrary, many would like to buy a simple and convenient dialer with social networks and instant messengers. Like in the good old days, when the phone could be held in one hand. Looking at this, for the first time in years, Apple released a Mini version of the new iPhone right at the start of sales.
Despite the title of "younger" iPhone 12 mini is a top-end smartphone that is not much inferior to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. All three are based on the new Apple A14 processor, which became the basis for the acclaimed Apple M1 laptop chip. That is, the pure performance of this baby corresponds to laptops based on the ninth to tenth generation Core i5. We don’t know where to put this powerhouse, but the game with biceps is impressive.
As in older models, there is a flagship OLED display with a resolution of 2K, support for HDR content and the familiar True Tone function. At the same time, the display diagonal is modest by today's standards of 5.4" and it is really convenient to control it with one hand. The appearance of the smartphone does not stand out from the crowd and retains continuity with older models and past generations (sharpened corners, monobrow, plain cover with a square camera). Metal and glass are used as materials, and the body is protected from moisture according to the standard (IP68). Magnets are scattered along the case for connecting wireless charging or other accessories with the MagSafe mounting system.
In fact, all the differences are in the camera block. iPhone 12 Mini uses 2 modules, not 3 or 4 like older models. Nevertheless, he shoots and photographs very well, somewhere on a par with the iPhone 11. So the iPhone 12 Mini can shoot HDR videos in 4K at 60 frames per second, is friends with the Smart HDR mode and can switch between camera modules during night shooting.
On the market you can find the iPhone 12 Pro Max both with two full-fledged SIM cards (nano + nano), and in combination with “nano + eSIM” with a virtual slot for a SIM card.
The minimum amount of memory is limited to 64 GB, followed by a 128 GB model, and closes the chain "minic" with 256 GB storage. The smartphone is presented in several colours — blue, green, black, white and red.
