Quad HD smartphones
Quad HD Resolution
— screens conditionally related to the Quad HD standard. The standard frame size in this standard is 2560x1440; however, in the case of smartphones, Quad HD resolutions include all displays whose height (on the smaller side) is between 1440 and 1644 pixels (and some models up to 2250 pixels). In turn, in length, such displays can have a size from 2152 to 3840 pixels. These screens provide more detail than Full HD; they are noticeably cheaper than Ultra HD displays, but they are still quite expensive. So, as of 2020, resolutions of this standard were found mainly among top models — including the flagships of this and past years.
