The Swim series watches are able to accurately measure the pulse under water and help calculate the effectiveness of training in the pool. For example, the second generation of Swim is able to track the pulse rate, the distance traveled, as well as the pace of strokes, their number, type and distance covered in one stroke. To do this, a bundle of GPS / GLONASS / Galileo is used. For the pool, personal training is offered with the possibility of limiting the permissible pulse rate or swimming speed.

Considering all the company's achievements in the field of creating training plans and data collection, it would be strange if the functionality of Swim watches were limited to swimming alone. In addition to training in a swimming pool or an open pond, the database of the branded application has activity profiles for basic cardio, cycling, running, yoga and other popular activities. In this case, the watch may come in handy, tracking the pulse level, stress level and quality of sleep after training.

At the end of 2020, Garmin introduced the second version of the Swim watch, which replaced the original model. They are equipped with a transreflective non-touch screen with a resolution of 208x208 pixels. The case of the watch provides water resistance at the level of 5 ATM. The built-in battery can last up to a week without recharging in smartwatch mode. When GPS and optical heart rate monitor are activated, the battery life is reduced to 13 hours.
