Water protection level 5 allows device to survive water jets of weak and medium strength that fall on the case from any direction. In fact, this means that with a gadget on hand, you can at least wash your hands without any worries, and also be even under fairly heavy rain; but for showering, jet skiing and other activities accompanied by strong jets of water, a higher level of protection is desirable.

With regard to dust resistance, the lack of certification in this case does not mean the lack of protection. The fact is that level 5 water protection in itself means a rather tightly closed body. Therefore, in fact, most of these cases are at least dustproof — that is, a small amount of dust can get inside, which is not capable of harming the electronic hardware, which corresponds to level 5 dust protection.
