It fundamentally differs from other editions of Android primarily in that it is not a remake, but a separate development, originally created for wearable devices. It has a high degree of integration with Android smartphones and tablets, when connected to such a device, a WearOS gadget gets all the features of Google Assistant — including the ability to process complex requests in natural language (“How did [such and such a team] play this week?”) , proactive prompts (“You have an [event] scheduled in an hour and a half, here are traffic-based route options”), and even control smart home devices through voice commands. In addition, Wear OS in general is very well optimized for small screens of wearable gadgets (both round and square). Its main drawback is rather high system requirements. Therefore, devices with this OS are produced mainly by large manufacturers and belong mainly to the middle, and even the top class.
