Instinct Series with AMOLED for the First Time
For the first time in the Instinct lineup, Garmin has introduced smartwatches with an AMOLED display. The model features a 1.3-inch screen with a resolution of 416×416 pixels and balanced brightness. Thanks to moderate backlighting, energy-efficient proprietary technologies (specifically, SatiQ), and a quality lithium-ion battery, the watch offers impressive autonomy — up to 24 days with regular use.
The Garmin Instinct 3 Tactical is equipped with a Dual GPS system with track navigation functionality, as well as a compass, altimeter, and barometer. With active navigation, the device operates for 40 to 86 hours — a performance that can be considered excellent for a model of this class.
For Military Personnel and Demanding Hikers
Like other members of the series, the Garmin Instinct 3 Tactical is designed for operation in harsh conditions. A robust polymer case with a metal bezel withstands shocks and fully complies with the military standard MIL-STD-810. Water resistance up to 10 atmospheres allows the watch to be used during swimming and even short dives. Additionally, there is a built-in flashlight with adjustable white light brightness and strobe mode.
Since this is a tactical version, the model is equipped with a number of specialized functions for military use. These include stealth mode (disabling GPS and wireless modules), low brightness mode, a ballistic calculator, the ability to delete data in emergencies (with 4 GB of internal memory), as well as calculations for drop zones during parachute jumps, and other tools.
For Sports and Everyday Use
The Garmin Instinct 3 Tactical offers a wide range of sports and wellness functions: round-the-clock heart rate monitoring and its variability, sleep analysis, morning reports, evaluation of body recovery and fitness levels, including VO2 Max calculation. The model is compatible with external sensors via the ANT+ protocol and supports contactless payments with Garmin Pay. Standard smartwatch functions such as notifications, music control, and others are also available.
