The Garmin Instinct 3 50mm is a smartwatch designed for active users who value a combination of reliability and functionality. The model features a large 50mm case made of robust plastic (also available in a 45mm version), reinforced with a metallic bezel. The construction complies with the military standard MIL-STD-810, ensuring shock resistance and protection against extreme conditions. Water resistance of level 10 ATM allows you to swim and make brief underwater dives without any issues.
The 1.3-inch display is slightly recessed into the case for additional protection. For the first time in the Instinct line, a bright and contrasty AMOLED matrix with a resolution of 416×416 pixels is used, providing excellent readability even in sunlight and comfort during prolonged use.
Quality Navigation, Flashlight and More
Garmin Instinct 3 is equipped with a dual-frequency GPS module and supports track navigation as well as functions like dual grid coordinates and Livetrack - transmitting location data to trusted contacts. Compass, altimeter, and barometer are provided for precise orientation in the area. The built-in flashlight has four brightness levels of white light and a red light mode to assist in the dark. The watch's battery life is impressive: up to 24 days in normal mode and from 40 hours to 3.5 days with active navigation, thanks to SatIQ technology, which optimizes the power consumption of the GPS module.
For Sports and Everyday Convenience
The watch provides continuous health and activity monitoring: it measures heart rate, heart rate variability, stress level, and also tracks sleep quality. A wide range of training modes is available for athletes, along with support for professional sensors using the ANT+ protocol, as well as analysis of metrics like body energy, VO2 Max, and morning reports with load recommendations.
Additionally, the model supports Garmin Pay contactless payments. The screen here is non-touch; control is carried out using physical buttons, preventing accidental presses, although it may initially seem less convenient. Overall, the Garmin Instinct 3 50mm is a durable, tough, and autonomous smartwatch, ideal for travelers, athletes, and anyone who spends a lot of time in nature.
