— by the name, such devices look like wristwatches. They are designed to work in conjunction with a smartphone, as an additional accessory, and are not designed for autonomous operation. The most advanced models may also provide completely independent capabilities (for example, a media player), but their range is small and this is the exception rather than the rule. Most smartwatches combine event notification functions (at least calls and SMS) with remote control (receiving calls, working with a player, etc.), but this is not limited to this. Some devices of this type are created for specific smartphone models, so when choosing, you need to pay special attention to compatibility.
