Projects for the PS5 deliver significantly improved graphics and a higher level of user immersion in the virtual world. Thus, game development for this console focuses on the enhanced tactile feedback of the updated DualShock controllers and highly realistic spatial sound (Tempest 3D AudioTech).

PS5 games are released on UHD Blu-ray optical discs as well as in digital format. To run games from discs, the "full" version of the PlayStation 5 console is required (NOT the Digital Edition modification). Note that the manufacturer has provided backward compatibility with PlayStation 4 games, but it is not supported by all projects (it's worth checking compatibility details directly before purchase).
