OnePlus Nord: "Nordic" middle class
OnePlus started off with “flagship killing” stories and promised that your new favorite smartphone would not be the iPhone or the Samsung Galaxy S, but the OnePlus. In the end, everything was done without violence and the company won its coveted place in the sun: OnePlus smartphones regularly enter the annual top charts, and Robert Downey Jr. himself became the brand ambassador. In 2020, the lineup has expanded with a new line of OnePlus mid-range smartphones in the Nord series.
The first Nord, released in the summer of 2020, turned out to be a very interesting mid-range device that claimed the title of “mid-range killer” but did not take off due to the price. At the time of release, it featured a very peppy Snapdragon 765G processor with 5G support, a 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a dual front camera embedded right into the display, and a OnePlus 8-style design. models: OnePlus Nord N100 is an unpretentious entry-level device that stands out from the rest of the "state employees" with a design in the spirit of OnePlus 8; OnePlus Nord N10 5G - with an IPS display instead of an AMOLED matrix, a single front camera and a long battery life; OnePlus Nord CE 5G is a model that closely matches the characteristics of the original Nord with some simplifications.

The series continues to evolve and under its wing are concentrated OnePlus smartphones of a confident mid-range rank. The base models of the line switched to chipsets from MediaTek (Helio and Dimensity), the simpler devices remained true to the "draconian" processors from Qualcomm. In terms of price and performance, Nord smartphones can hardly boast of any significant highlight, but they remain quite competitive against the background of hordes of "folk" models from Poco, Xiaomi and Realme. Recently, these manufacturers have spoiled us a lot, accustomed to the fact that for $250 you can buy a smartphone pumped on all fronts with almost flagship equipment.
