The phone is gorgeous. It came out expensive this year, but it is worth more than the money.

I recommend setting the screen calibration to "Natural" in the settings, as in the "Vivid" mode, interface elements remain on the screen in applications for up to 30 seconds, which can lead to temporary burn-in. Otherwise, the screen is amazing.
The manufacturer claims dust and moisture protection according to the IP68 standard, which is indeed present, but remember, it does not guarantee that the phone will withstand water pressure in the shower. It is better to avoid strong jets of water; otherwise, there is nothing to worry about.
SnapDragon 865 breaks all the limits. I play PUBG Mobile. Ultra graphics settings, stable 60 fps, and the phone doesn't heat up at all, even in a case. The battery holds up well but not fantastically, charging to 100% in about an hour or less.
The camera is simply top-notch.
The interface is convenient, fast, beautiful, and fully customizable for any user.
The screen calibration leaves much to be desired, but I assure you, you will never notice it with your eyes.

good model, liked it.

If you want premium Android 10, the OnePlus 8 Pro won't disappoint. It's a big, beautiful phone that doesn't feel too big, rarely disappoints and can, in some ways, outshine even the Samsungs and iPhones of the world.

I liked the phone itself; it's excellent even though it has some drawbacks.

Fast, doesn't lag, satisfied with the phone
Overall, the shell. Despite some flaws and inconsistencies, it is excellent. Camera image. Screen. Build quality. Battery. Charging speed. Reverse charging.
There are still some flaws in the interface. The image on the camera during video recording can deteriorate, and the frame rate may drop. This is very noticeable in the final material, and the developers have not resolved this issue. Surprisingly, the design is fine. It heats up noticeably, although it doesn't throttle. The gestures are a bit off. The front camera is mediocre for this price. It doesn't deliver its promised 120 Hz.

Also, there's no microSD or 3.5 mm jack (believe me, the mini-jack is often very necessary).

The OnePlus everyone's been waiting for

The once “flagship killer” OnePlus has already become a manufacturer of expensive smartphones, and OnePlus 8 Pro is a vivid confirmation of this. Not only in terms of features, but also in terms of price, it has become a worthy competitor to the flagships of Samsung, Apple, Huawei and other top brands. And outwardly, the smartphone is not much different from similar ones: a screen with rounded edges, which increases the likelihood of accidental clicks, a round cutout for the front camera, a slippery glass surface and a protruding camera unit. Therefore, you definitely can’t do without “armor” — fortunately, a silicone case was carefully put in the kit. The dimensions are also solid — 165.3x74.4x8.5 mm with a weight of almost 200 g. But most importantly, OnePlus has finally added water protection, and full-fledged with IP68, which guarantees complete protection against dust and water when diving to shallow depths. This is the first model of the company with such a rating, so this is a big step forward, because many gadgets have died after accidentally falling into a puddle, a bucket of water or a bath. In addition, the 4510 mAh battery supports fast, wireless and reverse charging (only 3 W), and the manufacturer was not greedy and put a 30 W charger in the box.

Full hardware

And the rest of the OnePlus 8 Pro is in no way inferior to modern flagships and offers everything you need for a full-fledged comfortable use. The large 6.78-inch Super AMOLED (OnePlus calls it Fluid AMOLED) display has a resolution of 3168x1440 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth animations. The flagship Snapdragon 865 processor, along with Adreno 650 graphics, can handle any task with ease, including games with maximum graphics settings, so you will definitely not feel the lack of power. You can also add fast LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. But there is no slot for a memory card (as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack), which, unfortunately, is not surprising nowadays. 128 GB in the basic configuration should be enough, but before buying it is better to think over your needs and immediately choose the appropriate volume.

The main camera does not “trump” with the now fashionable 108 MP, but it shoots at the highest level, proving that quantity is not always quality. It consists of two 48 MP lenses with optical stabilization, one of which is an ultra-wide-angle, 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an additional 5-megapixel sensor. Despite the presence of numerous modes and settings, the camera application is quite clear and convenient. The main sensor is able to combine pixels, giving out more “juicy” 12 MP images.

Also, it’s worth adding 5G support to the piggy bank of pluses (although this is not so important for us yet), a fingerprint scanner under the display, an improved vibration motor for tactile feedback and stereo speakers with a loud, good sound.
