The demand for components with liquid cooling is growing day by day and, judging by the announcements for 2024, literally every respectable manufacturer should have a line of products with the Water or Aqua prefix in their assortment. So the Taiwanese from ASRock, at the end of 2023, launched the Aqua line, which will include motherboards and video cards for enthusiasts and fashionistas, with beautiful, powerful water blocks designed in the same style.

After the announcement of video cards based on the Radeon Navi 3X (RDNA 3) core, ASRock decided to create an alternative to the record-breakingly powerful, but damn large and heavy Taichi video cards. ASRock Aqua GPUs feature full-coverage water blocks with a nickel-plated copper contact plate and an additional stiffener plate to strengthen the design. In addition, the manufacturer has completely redesigned the power converter with the power block to increase the chances of successful overclocking, and the water block itself has been decorated with addressable backlighting. All this technical splendor was created with the sole purpose of squeezing maximum performance out of the most powerful hardware available on the market.

Aqua selects only the most powerful, seriously overclocked components for enthusiasts and wealthy gamers. To launch the series, ASRock chose one of the most powerful video cards of the current generation - Radeon RX 7900 XTX with 24 GB of GDDR6 memory and a core overclocked to 2680 MHz. As a basis, the manufacturer used a printed circuit board from the flagship Radeon RX 7900 XTX Taichi, equipping it with a compact full-coverage water block with a nice acrylic window and a 22-phase VRM unit. As a result of such manipulations, ASRock has obtained one of the rare video cards of an absolutely top level, which can be freely placed in a miniature computer case without worrying that the hardware inside will not turn into an overcooked steak.
