Giant HP is one of the main suppliers of computer peripherals for the corporate market and individual entrepreneurs. Therefore, a “professional” veil constantly hovers around the company's products. For example, they produce two series of professional monitors at once - HP P and HP Z. And if the first group includes mostly inexpensive and convenient devices with reduced eye strain, then under the flags of HP Z there are elite professional monitors with reference color reproduction, high-quality factory calibration , USB hub and integrated screen manager.

A typical HP Z monitor is built on an elite matrix with support for proprietary DreamColor technology and full coverage of popular color triangles, including Adobe RGB and DCI P3. The user can choose from models with screen sizes from 24 to 38 inches and a resolution of 2K / 4K. For greater accuracy, all panels are factory calibrated, in addition to this, many are equipped with optional sensors for calibration. HP modestly states that almost half of the Hollywood pros in terms of graphics, special effects and coloring have abandoned professional NEC and Eizo monitors in favor of DreamColor screens.

Many representatives of the HP Z series are equipped with a built-in USB hub that can be used to connect peripherals, broadcast an image, and charge a connected gadget. The latter is especially convenient when working with modern laptops and ultrabooks, since the same USB-C connector can transfer a picture from a monitor to a laptop and charge it at the same time. However, the additional features of HP Z monitors are strictly tied to the price, so it’s definitely not entirely correct to say something here.
