Monitors with LAN connector

LAN

— connector originally used for wired connection to computer networks. However, the functionality of monitors with such ports can be different, it should be specified separately in each case. Here are some features found in such models:

— Work as network display: the monitor is connected to the local area, and you can display an image on it from any computer on the network.
— Work as full-fledged network device: the user can search and play content on the local network (or even on the Internet) using only the monitor's own tools for this, often without using PC at all.
— Direct connection to PC using LAN cable: the network connector, in fact, plays the role of video input. This format of work can be useful if there are no available video connectors for connection on the monitor or on the computer.
