In general, all *VA-screens have higher colour quality than TN, at a lower cost than IPS-panels. On the other hand, in terms of colour accuracy, such screens still fall short of IPS, and the visible shades may vary slightly depending on the viewing angle. As a result, we can hardly recommend a *VA monitor for design and other professional work with colour, but for a gamer or movie lover who is not satisfied with the quality of TN matrices, such a screen may be the best choice. Early versions of *VA had a high response time; however, thanks to the constant improvement of technology, in modern models this drawback is practically eliminated.
