— this category includes monitors with traditional flat (not curved) screens. For details on the curved screen, see the relevant paragraph; here we note that with all its advantages, such construction is far from being appropriate everywhere. So, screens with standard aspect ratio of 4:3 or 5:4, in principle, does not make sense to make curved, and in widescreen models it makes sense to use such design only with large diagonal. Also note that the curved screen significantly affects the overall cost of the monitor. In light of all this, the best option, even with large diagonal, is often not curved screen; for convenience of choice, such models are placed in separate paragraph.
