— USB-C input on the monitor facilitates simultaneous transmission of video signals using DisplayPort Alt Mode and data from a USB hub. In effect, this is an "all-in-one" cable, allowing you to display images from a laptop through a USB-C port without using a separate HDMI or DisplayPort cable. This is particularly convenient for modern slim laptops that have video output implemented via USB-C: one cable transmits the picture to the monitor and, with Power Delivery support, can also charge the laptop simultaneously. It is important to note that video transmission via USB-C must be supported by both sides. In practice, this is useful for connecting an ultrabook or MacBook to an external screen without adapters and extra cables.
