The 2023 HP gaming monitor can be classified as a mid-budget solution. At the same time, within the OMEN brand line it can be positioned as an entry-level model with a small display (24 inches) and standard Full HD resolution. The screen is based on a high-quality 8-bit IPS matrix, the advantages of which, in addition to traditionally good viewing angles, include good color rendition.
Thus, the HP OMEN 24 monitor claims to cover 99% of the sRGB space and 90% of the DCI P3 space. Other features of the picture include low contrast (1000:1) and slightly increased brightness (peak values of 300 nits). The model will please game connoisseurs primarily with support for the latest synchronization technologies (AMD FreeSync Premium), fast response (1 ms from gray to gray) and an increased frame rate of up to 165 Hz. In addition, there are also useful gaming functions, namely displaying FPS in real time, displaying the sight and timer on the screen. Additional advantages include the latest connection interfaces (DisplayPort v 1.4 + HDMI 2.0 pair) and an ergonomic stand. The latter allows you to rotate the screen, switch it to portrait mode, and change the height.
