— a slightly weakened version of the original Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, designed for "people's" flagship smartphones at a relatively affordable price. The processor is made according to the "1+4+3" architecture, which is slightly different from the "1+5+2" core configuration of the older 8 Gen 3 model. This SoC also has simpler graphics (Adreno 735).Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 boasts a main Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of 3.0 GHz, four productive Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of 2.8 GHz and three energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores with a frequency of 2.0 GHz. The chipset supports generative AI, the fastest LPDDR5X memory standards (up to 24 GB) and UFS 4.0, cameras up to 200 MP and Quad HD+ screens with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. In terms of wireless connections, the processor has a 5G Snapdragon X70 modem and supports Wi-Fi 7.
