Under the flags of the Pro-CSM series, the Taiwanese manufacturer Asus is releasing old-fashioned-looking motherboards with green PCB and advanced system monitoring tools for the corporate segment and the retail sector. In their production, the manufacturer focuses not on supporting high-ranking memory or using a modern memory bus, but on tools that extend the life cycle of the board.

This set may vary from board to board, but as a rule it includes a water-repellent PCB, firmware backup with an automatic recovery option, a system event log, additional troubleshooting tools, and special software for administering office PCs and trading terminals. Thanks to such things, a system administrator can remotely configure PCs and trading terminals, customize the BIOS, receive information about breakdowns in a timely manner and fix them remotely.

Otherwise, the equipment is not much different from conventional entry-level motherboards: 2 or 4 slots for RAM (DDR4 or DDR5), 4-6 slots for drives (4 SATA3 + 1 or 2 M.2), video card connector. The key difference lies in the large selection of video outputs for direct connection of the monitor to the GPU of the processor. To power the processor, a high-quality converter is usually used for an average of 8 power phases. To simplify installation, all Pro-CSM boards were made compact (micro-ATX, mini-ITX). Models of 2022 and later models support the fourth and fifth generation PCI-E bus, as well as DDR5 DIMM slots. All boards are designed to work with Intel processors.
