Hardware NVMe uses the M.2 connector (see "Connectors on the board"), and electrically — the PCI Express bus. Thus, NVMe compatibility means that the "motherboard" has at least one M.2 slot capable of operating in PCIe mode. At the same time, we note that the number of lines, the PCIe version and, accordingly, the connection speeds may be different, these nuances should be specified for each model separately.
