High performance 250 GB internal SSD with M.2 interface. Compared to devices equipped with a SATA 3 interface, it provides a radically higher data transfer speed. This model is capable of sequential read operations at speeds up to 3.2 GB/s and sequential writes up to 1.5 GB/s, which is 4-6 times faster than traditional SSD drives. Designed for use in high-performance configurations of personal computers, laptops and ultrabooks, however, before buying, you should make sure that the motherboard has the appropriate slot — M.2 Socket 3.
It can become a system drive for a gaming system. The Samsung 960 EVO M.2 [MZ-V6E250BW] SSD is equipped with Samsung's advanced Polaris controller and proprietary 3D TLC NAND memory. Despite the relatively low reliability of information storage in three-bit TLC cells, the manufacturer managed to achieve an impressive guaranteed resource of 100 TB of recorded data due to its own original technology. Thus, with a daily recording volume of 25 GB, the drive will last more than 10 years. The device has an impressively small size and a meager weight of 8 g. It is completely silent in operation, not sensitive to accelerations and shocks, but it can heat up significantly with large volumes of continuous recording.
