I bought a Samsung 870 EVO with 250 GB as the system drive for my PC. It works fast and stable, the system loads noticeably quicker, and programs open without freezing. During my use, there have been no failures or strange behavior. What I especially liked is that the drive stays cool — it doesn’t heat up even under load, and doesn't warm the case with excess heat. This is important for me because the PC was assembled with the intention of quiet and neat operation. The 250 GB capacity is optimal for Windows and essential programs, avoiding overpayment for unnecessary gigabytes. Everything is fine in it, but the recording speed has dropped sharply. I recorded 4 terabytes in 3 days. What did you write? Old ssd for 6 years 17 terabytes. Returned it to the seller (ozone). Used it for 10 days. OS migration with a native program (26 min.) Rearranged the disks and that’s it. Bought in May 2021 I hear they have problems with the chip. |
