Integrated graphics laptops
Integrated graphics
— an integrated graphics card nowadays is usually graphics core built right into the processor. Such module does not have its own memory, so it uses the total RAM of the system. This memory is slower than dedicated storage in discrete graphics cards; in addition, the graphics take away part of the RAM used by other tasks. Because of this, laptops with this feature generally do not differ in performance (both in terms of graphics and in general). However integrated modules have recently appeared, in terms of power approaching inexpensive discrete solutions; however, among laptops with integrated graphics, in principle, there are no advanced models of the gaming or high-performance class (see "By features").On the other hand, video cards of this type are very compact, economical in terms of power consumption, have minimal heat generation and are inexpensive. And for simple tasks (like surfing the Internet, office applications, games with low requirements), they are quite enough. So it is quite possible to pay attention to this option in cases where battery life and/or low cost are more important for you than advanced graphics capabilities.
